3DFuser 115 – Space-Conscious 3D Sound Diffusion
Not every room has the width to accommodate deeper acoustic treatment on the side walls. The GreatSound Acoustics 3DFuser 115 is designed for projects where effective 3D sound diffusion is required while keeping the acoustic treatment profile more compact.

With a depth of 115 mm, the 3DFuser 115 is particularly suitable for side-wall applications in compact and medium-sized home cinemas, Hi-Fi listening rooms and studios. In rooms with limited width—such as home cinemas around 10 to 12 feet wide—every centimetre of usable space matters. The reduced depth helps integrate 3D diffusion into the acoustic design with less projection into the room compared with the deeper 160 mm 3DFuser.

Its three-dimensional surface scatters reflected sound in multiple directions, helping create a more spatial and evenly distributed sound field rather than relying only on absorption. This makes it useful where the acoustic design needs to control reflections while preserving a sense of energy and spaciousness within the room.
The 3DFuser 115 can be strategically used on side walls or other suitable reflection areas, depending on the room dimensions, speaker layout, seating position and overall acoustic treatment plan.

Why Choose the 3DFuser 115?
  • 115 mm compact depth for space-conscious acoustic designs
  • Well suited to side-wall diffusion applications
  • A practical option for narrower home cinema and listening rooms
  • Provides 3D sound diffusion and scattering
  • Helps preserve more usable room width compared with deeper diffuser designs
  • Designed to work as part of a complete acoustic treatment system combining absorption, diffusion and low-frequency management
  • Choosing Between 3DFuser 115 and 3DFuser 160
  • The choice should depend on the room dimensions and acoustic design rather than simply choosing the deeper model.
  • For rooms where sufficient installation depth is available, the 160 mm 3DFuser can be considered. Where side-wall space is more limited—particularly in narrower dedicated cinema and listening rooms—the 3DFuser 115 provides a more space-conscious way to incorporate three-dimensional diffusion.
  • Proper placement should always be determined as part of the complete room acoustic design.

Any space require a Combination of absorption, diffusion, Reflection, and low-Frequency management for professional results. 3D fuser can be used along with the appropriate GreatSound absorbers, 2d diffusers and bass trap(s) for balancing the frequencies of room acoustics and sound reflection control.Pls use Umik -1 or Umik 2 with REW Eq Wizard for before and after Room reverberation time RT60. Proper Acoustic treatment and Professional THX or HAA - Home Acoustic Alliance Audio Calibration will provides true immersive experience.
