FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What's the difference between Soundproof vs Acoustic Treatment?
Acoustic treatment is sound insulation which will affects how sound moves inside the air in the room which is important for Home theater scenario for immersive experience. Soundproof is sound isolation to reduce sound transmission, which can usually only be done by construction, Not by any acoustic panels.
What are Sound Absorbing Panels used for?
Acoustic Sound panels are used to remove reverb and echo in any space. They are excellent in absorbing sound at all high and mid frequencies. They stop sound waves from bouncing back and forth, which in turn yields better stereo imaging and a greater depth of sound stage.
How many Panels do I need to reduce echo?
It all depends on the total sq.ft of the surfaces in a room. We recommend minimum coverage of 20% of all hard surfaces.
What are Bass Traps used for?
Bass Traps are used to absorb the low Frequency energy in the room. Its highly recommended to use in studio and home cinema projects.
What are Sound Diffusion Panels used for?
Sound Diffusers have two jobs, absorb and reflect sound. These panels absorb acoustic issues like flutter echo and reverb while reflecting soundwaves in different directions creating a more balanced sound experience throughout a listening space.
Where do I Place my Sound Panels?
It depends on the application. In a recording studio environment, Placing at the first reflection points will greatly enhance the overall sound and promote a balanced mix. In living rooms, offices or other non-critical listening environments, personal preference is considered.
At What Height should hang My Panels?
Normally, most panels are centered around ear height or tweeter height in the room, but there can be variance depending on the use of the panels.
Do your Panels comes with everything need to hang?
Only few products like 3D diffusers have the installation accessories. Acrylic based glue, spray glue, construction adhesives, or the optional magnetic installation kit can be used for foam Acoustics panels.
Where should i hang the 3D Diffusers?
The sound 3d Diffusers should be used in rear half of the room only. do not use it in the front half. you can use it in second half of Left wall, Right wall and especially in the Rear wall & Ceiling.
Can i use more Diffusers to get maximum experience?
No, Diffusers should be used as per room size. More diffusion will create sound unpleasant sound. Normally we can use 25% of the surface area.
